VOID FILLS

HAS WATER WASHED OUT THE DIRT BELOW YOUR CONCRETE?

Our lightweight strong polymers are the perfect solution

Completed Backfill

Our polymers are injected as a liquid and expand to fill all cavities below the concrete.

Lightweight and Strong

Polyurethane by nature is a lightweight material. It is the formula we use that makes it strong. Much stronger than hand packing dirt.

Immediate Return to Service

By the time we finish filling the void and packing up, the polymers are ready for the concrete to be returned to immediate use.

HOW IT WORKS

Our unique void filling process includes the controlled fill of a void using an expansive polymer injected through your concrete or from the side of the concrete. This process eliminates the area of washed out soils below the concrete while sealing any cracks in the concrete and sealing any storm drains that may have been leaking. Stopping water penetration that leads to soil erosion. Apex’s system treats the soils and addresses the water and erosion issues.

Until recently, mudjacking/compaction grouting has been the method more commonly used for filling voids below concrete and is still a widely acceptable form of restoration. While mudjacking and polyurethane injection can achieve similar results, at least initially, the process by which those results are achieved and the extended performance of the two products are completely different.
